i love lord of the rings
i love loreena mckennitt
but this video clearly shows that you can love something and not understand it at all. if you’ll actually listen to the lyrics, youll know that the song is about a dying monk telling his friend john about how lonely his life was in service to god, it is TOTALLY UNRELATABLE to Lord of the Rings.
Absolutely wonderful song, and you obviously put great effort into matching the perfect clips from LOTR to the video and getting the timings just right. This is great work, and is now on my favorite list.
From the depths of anguish and dispair of the time of WWII came a tale that reflected all the horor that was brought to the Earth. A tale of hope that came from the most unlikely source.

This song is lonely, and seems to have a sense of duty behind it.
